Our Experience

Being in the Bay Area, we had a bit of a head start on the internet. At Bay City Scale, Inc. we had our web site up and running in the early 1990's and had a functional web store by 1998. Over the years it seems more and more people are shopping online. (Check it out here BCSIWAYBACK) Through our experience we have decided to go in a different direction. Starting in 2021 Bay CIty Scale, Inc. will no longer be selling our products online. We have received feedback from our valued customers, that many times the equipment they putchased online didn't fit their needs they way they though they would. In 2019 we begain contacting customers who placed orders to discuss their purchase prior to shipment. We found the the overwhelming majority of customers would be better off with a different product. We are proud to say that this process saved our customers time and money, getting the proper equipment the first time, not over purchasing or buying equipment that wouldn't serve their purpose.
